Bejan Daruwala. Charismatic. Unforgettable. Articulate. Devoted to Ganesha. Profoundly Knowledgeable. With an air of cuteness around him. I remember buying his Annual Astrological Forecast booklets in 1998 and then getting hooked into his deep intuitive insights about planets, transits and personality traits. Who inspired us all in his own unique way. And charmed us with his aura.

In 2004 I had the honour of working alongside him digitally on Times Astrospeak. It was such an honour to be featured on the same page as the man who was awarded “Astrologer of the Millenium” He was my “online neighbour” and a great one too. He inspired me to keep learning. And he showed me that an Astrological Reading does not have to be sombre or scary, he made his querent feel completely at ease and made them laugh with his unique wit and charm. And boy was he accurate.

Look what I found in one of his earlier forecasts for my sunsign.

“Living Life to the Fullest. You will go for a ride and an adventurous trip.”

Thank you Bejan Daruwalla. May the Gods give you eternal peace and happiness.

“A mad scramble’s about to take place.

What are you going to do?

Join in the screaming rush?

Or stand back and let the wave subside a little before you

take a step.

You can’t go back. That world barely exists.

You can’t take the fear, the anger and the pain with you.

Just drop the excess baggage.

Forgive. Let Go. Drop. Drop. Drop it all.

Time to unlearn. And relearn.

Adapt. Accept. Advance.

You can handle it. We all can. “

The upcoming energy shifts reveals a time for a reorientation to a new normal. And an internal evaluation of our own skills, abilities, mindsets and states of wellbeing will be required to adapt to a new way of living and functioning on this planet.

Find out if the upcoming energy shifts will help you or hinder you with a Tarot Report or Telephone Session. For details message me on mita.bhan@gmail.com/9810138315.

Compassion during Covid 19

At some level everyone is suffering. Whether it’s the loss of a loved one. Or a loss of a job. Or the incessant gnawing in the pit of the stomach. Covid 19 has affected all of us deeply. But the force that seems to be far stronger than the suffering is the acts of compassion displayed by people in uncertain times across the world.

Acts of sheer generosity. Acts of caring for the community. Acts of caring for the street animals. Kind words, actions and support in difficult times which have brought people closer, restored faith and made us all feel a little better. Going beyond yourself to offer help, support, encouragement, a hand helps in bringing in a sense of wellbeing.

Tara Parker-Pope author of the book “The Science of Helping Out” says, “During a crisis, the people who cope best are those who help others.” The act of giving makes us feel not only better but in a small yet significant way, it raises the positive vibrations in this world, especially now.

What kind of acts of compassion can you extend in the lockdown?

  • Sponsor meals for migrant workers.
  • Pay salaries to your part time helpers. Find out if they need anything and help them with food supplies.
  • Sponsor meals for street animals and animal sanctuaries.
  • Call a friend that you haven’t spoken to for a while
  • Tell a family member how much you love and appreciate them
  • Tell someone you know why you are thankful for them
  • Send a motivational text to a friend who is struggling
  • Send someone you know a joke to cheer them up
  • Reach out to call a friend, family member or neighbour who is experiencing loneliness or self-isolation
  • Donate to a charity.
  • Lend your ear – call a colleague and ask how they’re finding the change in routine
  • Donate to foodbanks
  • Offer to send someone a takeaway or a meal.
