“Come along young man let’s get your eyes checked” said our Doctor to my then 6 year old son who beamed and exclaimed.
“Did you hear that mom? I’m not a child. I’m a YOUNG MAN!”
Funny isn’t it? When we are kids we can’t wait to grow older. And when we are adults, we remember the purity and spontaneity of childhood. Minus the responsibilities, the chores, the aches and the pains.
