Healing crystals have a way of reappearing just when we need them. And over the years I’ve lost and found my crystals during times of need. Today after several months, my favourite Selenite palm stone reappeared, reminding me it’s time.
This pearly white, soft, iridescent crystal derived its name from the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene and as been referred to by ancient Chinese geomancy practitioners as “liquid light”. Among its many properties, selenite works best as a cleanser of space, of other crystals and of the mind and emotion. Just gazing at its pearly hues brings deep peace and rejuvenation. When used during meditation selenite connects us with our highest, purest selves reminding us of our own inner light and beauty as souls.
Almost like an energetic detox it brings us back to goodness and light.
