A tourist went to visit a wise old sage who lived alone in the mountains. The wise old sage was known all over the land for his healing powers and was known to cure those who were chronically ill. Upon reaching the sage’s home, the tourist was astonished to see that the old man lived in a room filled only with books. No bed, no chairs, just the simplest basics. He exclaimed “Sir where is your furniture?”
The wise man smiled and replied
“Where is yours?”
The tourist replied that he was just a visitor who was passing through.
